Ada T. Brown Wins AANC Rookie Contest

On January 19, 2007 AANC held its Rookie Bid Calling Contest durring the Annual January Convention at the Embassy Suites in Greensboro. Ada Brown was crowned the first ever female Rookie Champion.

The Rookie contest Friday evening had a record 12 contestants. The competition was intense with some real quality bid-calling. In addition to Ada Brown being crowned Champion, David Bailey of Newton was crowned Reserve Champion and Greg Bennett of Siler City was Runner-Up. Another first for the contest was cash prizes for the first 3 positions. Congratulations to the winners and to all of the competitors in the contest.
